Western Mass - Christmas Bird Count with Anti-racist Collective of Avid Birders

  • 593 South Pleasant Street Amherst, MA, 01002 United States (map)

This year, FBC Western Mass (aka the Anti-racist Collective of Avid Birders) is collaborating with Bramble Hill Farm to plan an inclusive, accessible and COVID-safe CBC event. We still have a few spots open for December 17 (Sunday)— and anyone is welcome!

We will have a bird walk(s) in the morning, and will bird-in-place in the afternoon. Since Bramble Hill Farm has been so kind as to allow us to access otherwise-restricted spaces, please register to give us a heads-up— even if you’re not sure if/when you’ll drop by: charity.pledgeit.org/ACAB-CBC

Key community care notes:

  • bathrooms available (most are accessible with mobility aids)

  • quiet space for breaks and warming up

  • accessible by public transportation (PVTA buses are currently free for everyone!)

  • only open to vaccinated participants

  • entirely outdoors

  • prioritizing social distancing

  • please bring a mask!

Oh, there might be hot chocolate and doughnuts! Other questions and accessibility requests? Please let us know when you register!
