Sketching to Remember
In this workshop we hope to demonstrate how drawing can help us identify birds. In the first half of the workshop Jenny will demonstrate different techniques for sketching in the field and how it might help with bird identification. For the second half participants will be invited to either follow Jenny and watch her sketch, or roam around the Loch and Pool and sketch the birds they see. At the end we will reconvene at the Pool and do a “show and tell” and talk about our experience.
We recommend you bring your favorite drawing/painting tools and a sketchbook, but if you don't have any, some basic drawing tools will be available.
