Join FBC NYC for a little sit in Prospect Park to enjoy the end of spring migration!
No birding experience necessary, free and open to all. Feel free to drop in or depart at any time.
We’ll look and listen for local and migratory birds such as Osprey, swallows, herons, ducks, orioles, and more.
Meet at the Prospect Park War Memorial (https://maps.app.goo.gl/rmu4JVhvNeJoG8Dr7). We will be right behind it!
Bring binoculars if you have them, as well as a snack, water, and sunscreen for yourself. We’ll have a few spare binoculars to share.
Accessibility Notes: Road and sidewalk to meeting spot is paved. Surface at meeting spot is brick.
We will be mostly stationary, with access to benches. Optional ventures to nearby trees or other birdy spots, potentially on uneven ground.
Bathrooms are located nearby at Le Frak Center. For a list of all Prospect bathrooms, visit https://www.nycgovparks.org/parks
