Join Katina Grays of Outdoor Afro and Akilah Lewis from the Feminist Bird Club for a guided bird tour during spring migration in Central Park. We will be looking for warblers and other migratory birds as they pass through NYC, as well as local resident species.
The Feminist Bird Club is excited to be partnering with Outdoor Afro, a community that reconnects African-Americans with natural spaces and one another through recreational activities such as camping, hiking, biking, birding, fishing, gardening, skiing — and more!
This walk is open to all but note that this event was designed to create intentional space for African Americans and other people of color.
