For the third annual #BlackBirdersWeek, celebrate with a Birding Field Trip led by Akilah Lewis, Efua Peterson, and Ronnie Almonte at Randall's Island Park! Read more about this year's extraordinary Birding Guides below.

The Field Trip will explore the Water’s Edge Garden, the Little Hellgate Salt Marsh, and up to the Living Shoreline, viewing all the birds that can be found along the way! Binoculars are available to borrow if you can’t bring your own. Email education@randallsisland.org to reserve a pair.

Registration is required (register here for birding). BIPOC community members are highly encouraged to register.

To continue the celebration, please register for our Community BBQ which will immediately follow the Birding field trip. Register on EventBrite here for the BBQ.
