The Feminist Bird Club is partnering with DCPL to hold a fun Wingspan Board Game Event!

The summer doldrums are here! They’re keeping the birds quiet and tempting us indoors. We’re partnering with the Feminist Bird Club DMV and invite you to join us for their next meet-up playing Wingspan, the fun board game about birds created by local game designer Elizabeth Hargrave. Join us to play birders seeking to attract the best birds to our network of wildlife preserves. Each habitat in the game is associated with an action (gaining food, laying eggs, drawing cards). Each bird that you play makes you better at those actions, triggering its own power each time you use its habitat.
