What: Feminist Bird Club Atlanta Chapter - October Lawnchair Birding Event @ Grant Park. Sheridan and Kiana from Georgia Audubon will be joining us to lead a Beginner Bird ID lesson.

When: Wednesday, October 18, 2023 - 5:30 pm meet-up. Beginner Bird ID lesson will begin around 5:45 pm. Birding will conclude around sunset, 7pm.

Where: Grant Park - 625 Park Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30308.  Street parking is available on the perimeter of the park on Park Ave, Sydney St. and Cherokee Ave, in addition to the paid parking deck at 759 Boulevard SE. (see map below)

Route: N/A, We will be gathering to sit and bird in a grassy, wooded area by a small pavilion, just south of Grant Park Pool (see map and photo below)

What to bring: Lawn chair, other portable chair, or blanket, water and/or other beverages, snacks/ food (to share or not!), guide book + binoculars (if you have them, but we have pairs to loan for folks who need them).
